Bedul Beach

 
Bedul is located in Purwoharjo.

It is about 2 hours from Banyuwangi. 
The location is so far away from Banyuwangi. 
The visitor must through small village which has a large area of rice field and farm. 
To inform, there are not public transportations.
 
 
The main tourist attraction is mangrove forest. Moreover, there is habitat of monkeys. 

To reach the beach, the visitor must use a traditional boat which have been provided by the local tourism officers.

 


After using the boat, the visitors must take a walk about 15 minutes through the forest which has a lot of monkeys.


 


Finally, the beautiful Bedul beach can be enjoyed.
it has large of sands and big wave. it will be amazing experience to spent the

holiday.

Red Island

 
This place named Red island because the sands seem red.
Its location is in sub Distric of Pesanggaran. It is so far away from Banyuwangi.
To reach this place, it needs about 2 hours. Furthermore, the road condition is good.

Unfortunatelly, there are not public transportation. Because the long distance of this place to the city, the condition is still natural and pure.

Actually, the color of the sand is white. This beach has a large area. So, the visitors can enjoy this place by taking a walk along the beach because the sand is so smooth and comfortable to walk on. 

Besides that, surfing can be done in this place when the wave is big. As the information, Red island had been the chosen place of international surfing of Banyuwangi event in 2013.

Ijen Crater

 Ijen is located in sub Distric of Licin. 

 
It is about 35 km from Banyuwangi. 
Moreover, Ijen crater is the biggest crater lake in Java. The road is in a good condition. Unfortunately, there are not public transportation to reach Ijen. 

Furthermore, there are homestays which can be used by the visitors. Besides that, there are some small shops and parking area. 

The visitors must take a walk from the entrance until the crater. The road is good and it takes about 2 hours to reach the creater. So, the visitors must have a good stamina and bring some foods and water. However, there are not toilet along the route.

The special things of Ijen are its sulfur miners and its blue fire.

There are a lot of miners that carry sulfur by using some basket.

Furthermore, the blue fire is the most special scene in Ijen. 

It is the only one in Indonesia. 

So, that's make it so special to be seen.

  
The sky presents the big sight. Don’t forget if the sunrise also becomes so beautiful in the morning. You would not believe your eyes if the clouds, the sun, and ten million stars in the sky are so close, as close as you think.

Beside the sky, green zone is also present amazing sight.

So please, think about the forest which present full color of green.

There are many kinds of trees that contain greenness of it.

Green is peaceful color, fresh color and the green zone is the great amazing sight for us.

The amazing sight does not end here, because small town also provides a lot of great sight. As far as we see, the homes are small. In the night, its lamps look like candles in the world.

Blambangan Museum

Blambangan Museum is located at JL. A. Yani No 78 Banyuwangi. 

Exactly, it is located at the Tourism Department of Banyuwangi. The pattern of building is ancient. Blambangan Museum is a kind of public museum because there are various type of objects collection.

Blambangan Museum collection has reached about 500 collections of historical objects. Some of the Collection are Large jars, statue of Vishnu, typewriter, phone Ancient, Keris, Spear & Weapons, uang Gobok, Osing Houses, batik of Banyuwangi, ethnographic, archeology, Historika, Numistika, Fiologika, Keramologika, Tehnologika, fine arts.

Blimbingsari Beach

Blimbingsari is located in Rogojampi District. 

It is about 23 km from Banyuwangi. It is near the Airport. To reach this beach, the visitors must use personal transportation because the public transportation is difficult to be found.

This place is special because there are a lot of stalls that provide seafood as the main menu. 

There are a lot of visitors especially on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, there are not hotels or inns in Blimbingsari.
The best time to visit this beach is at the afternoon.
